Changing Text: CATEGORIES

1. Log in to Joomla! Administrator if you haven't already.
2. Access the template admin by navigating to Components -> Gantry 5 Themes -> Default Theme in the left menu.
   
3. Click on Layout tab under Base Outline
   
4. Scroll to the Navigation section and click (config icon) next to the Categories and Menu particle

   

5. Now follow on-screen instructions

Navigation Menu

1. Navigate to Menus -> Manage from left side menu.
   
2. Click on New button to create new menu.
3. Name the new menu: Navigation
4. Navigate to Menus -> Navigation (you just created)
5. Create necessary menu items as you need.
6. Navigate to Content -> Site Modules in the left menu.
   
7. Click on New to create new module and select Menu
8. Module Position: nav-menu
9. Layout: navmenu
10. Menu Assignment: On all pages
11. Now follow on screen instructions and setup.

    

    

Categories menu on home page

1. Read Create dropdown and mega menu for HikaShop and VirtueMart
2. From the Modules manager, click on New button to create new module
3. Click on New button and select Gantry 5 Particle
4. Click on Pick a Particle and select "Menu" from popup list. Then follow on-screen instructions and setup. See screenshot-

   

5. Add position name: showcase-a
6. Menu Assignment: Only on the pages selected; select your Home page only.

Categories menu on other pages

1. Duplicate the Gantry 5 Particle: Menu module you just created above or Create another Gantry 5 Menu Particle module by following above steps.
2. Add position name: nav-categories
3. Menu Assignment: On all pages except those selected; select your Home page.
