Header Section

Header Section

If you have installed the Quickstart package, edit the following modules instead of creating them again.

Change Logo and Logo Position:

  1. Log in to Joomla! Administrator if you haven't already.
  2. Access the template admin by navigating to Components -> Gantry 5 Themes -> Default Theme in the left menu.
  3. Click on Layout tab under Base Outline.
  4. Scroll to the Header section and click (config icon) next to the Header Toolbar particle.

  5. Now follow on-screen instructions under Logo - Options for changing logo and logo position.

Create Search Module

  1. Navigate to Content -> Site Modules in the left menu.
  2. Click on New button to create new module
  3. Select a Module Type : Search
  4. Show Title : Hide
  5. Position : header-search (Copy and paste, then press Enter on your keyboard.)
  6. Search Button: NO
  7. Menu Assignment : On all pages

Create Hikashop Currency Switcher Module

  1. From the Modules manager, click on New button to create new module
  2. Select a Module Type : HikaShop Currency Switcher Module
  3. Show Title : Hide
  4. Position : header-currency (Copy and paste, then press Enter on your keyboard.)
  5. Menu Assignment : On all pages

Create Joomla! Language Switcher Module

  1. From the Modules manager, click on New button to create new module
  2. Select a Module Type : Language Switcher
  3. Show Title : Hide
  4. Position : header-language (Copy and paste, then press Enter on your keyboard.)
  5. Menu Assignment : On all pages

Create Dropdown User Menu/ MY ACCOUNT

  1. Access the template admin by navigating to Components -> Gantry 5 Themes -> Default Theme in the left menu.

Create Login Module for the Dropdown User Menu

  1. From the Modules manager, click on New button to create new module
  2. Select a Module Type : Login
  3. Show Title : Hide
  4. Position : header-login (Copy and paste, then press Enter on your keyboard.)
  5. Menu Assignment : On all pages
  6. Editing Login Text

Create HikaShop Cart Module

  1. From the Modules manager, click on New button to create new module
  2. Select a Module Type : HikaShop Cart Module
  3. Show Title : Hide
  4. Position : header-cart (Copy and paste, then press Enter on your keyboard.)
  5. Menu Assignment : On all pages
  6. HikaShop Options
